SESAMA Education & Technology Group

  • SESAMA Education & Technology Group was established in 2004 with the aim of spearheading the various Sesama projects. SESAMA  previously in 1992 had established the International Medical College which became the International Medical University in 1999. SESAMA also established a think-tank project, World Enterprise Institute in 2001, with focus in economic development policies as well as promoting entrepreneurship and small business development.
  • In 2006, SESAMA established the Kuala Lumpur Education City (KLEC) which was approved by the Prime Minister’s Department as a high-impact project under the National Implementation Task Force. In 2011, KLEC was awarded the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP) status under the Prime Minister’s Department as one of the key National Key Economic Area (NKEA).
  • In 2010, SESAMA, via KLEC, established Epsom College Malaysia and the 50-acre UK boarding school to be located in Bandar Enstek will open in September 2014. Also in 2011, KLEC established the Centre for Executive Education working with Judge Business School University of Cambridge, offering short executive programmes as part of the continuing professional education initiative.
  • SESAMA, through its various subsidiairies, continue to explore various educational opportunities as part of its mission to promote the development of education within Malaysia and the region.

Empowering Youth Endeavors (EYE) Project

  • A youth-based marketing social business start-up based in Kuala Lumpur.
  • Organized numerous programs and formed platforms for the development
    of youth into highly sought-after talents in Malaysia.
  • Supported by various government, corporate and non-profit multinational
    organizations since 2011.
